Rick Santorum, the latest GOP frontrunner, isn’t a fan of public schools, prenatal testing or environmentalism. How far can he go until he just seems too “out there?” MSNBC Senior Political Analyst Mark Halperin and U.S. News & World Report’s Susan Milligan join us to talk about that tonight.
Next up: Mitt Romney was thought to have the GOP nomination in the bag, but now there’s talk of him losing Michigan, and talk of a brokered convention! Are his presidential prospects salvageable? We’re asking The New Republic’s Walter Shapiro and MSNBC Political Analyst Michael Steele.
Then: Don’t underestimate the importance of the price of gas on the 2012 election. Prices at the pump are soaring these days. Why? And will they be going up or down come November? We’ll talk with Daniel Yergin, NBC Energy Analyst and author of The Quest, and Reuters Editor-at-Large Chrystia Freeland about the politics of gas prices.
Plus: It’s President’s Day, and we’re looking back on the Clinton Presidency with presidential historian Doug Brinkley and MSNBC Political Analyst Eugene Robinson. Tune in!

Ms. Milligan is absolutely right. Some on the right think, believe or rationalise intentionally that this world is given to humans by God and its resources provided by God, some animals, plants are foods for humans to eat and oil, coals, natural gas are for humans to use. Therefore it's impossible to over use them or impossible for humans to emit too much CO2 to destroy the Earth. It's a conviniente and comfortable rational to accept than a complicated scientific doomsday's rational. Religion is not all about faith and belief. You have to know the basic premises to understand why they say what they say. Some believe it. Some know better to use it tactically. I never belived religions ever started wars. Guns don't kill people. People kill peple. Guns make it easier, convinient and deadly. Religions don't start wars. people start wars because of territory grabs, power grabs, securities, egos, prides, greeds and fears. Religions make it absolute and righteous.
